for more on the storm, the weather where you are, you can head to the weather channel s website at weather.com. we ll, there s no relief this morning at the gas pumps across this country as the travelers begin the easter holiday weekend. the current national average for gas is on the rise once more. it s now sitting at nearly $38.06 a gallon, up more than a dollar per gallon from the national average. the rise is keeping some drivers off the road. gas prices almost $4 a gallon, we decided not to travel an eight or ten-hour trip like we normally would to see family. gas sales have been down for seven straight weeks, but canadians are traveling to the u.s. because believe it or not, our gas is less expensive than theirs. new polling shows half of the national s drivers are spending less time on the road. 55% say they re changing their driving habits, 10% higher than those keeping the things the same.
