that s less than half the number of new jobs predicted by economists. it was a disappointing report, and there was one bright spot. the unemployment rate slipped to 4.2%. that s a new pandemic-era low. keep in mind, though, excuse me, the economy still down nearly 4 million jobs from its pre-pandemic levels. cnn s christine romans breaks this down for us. boris and christi, hiring slowed at america s businesses in november, faltering amid rising covid infection rates in the northeast and midwest. but the jobless rate told a more optimistic story. the jobless rate fell to 4.2%, the lowest since february 2020. here are the numbers. 210,000 jobs added back to the economy. now, that s the smallest number in almost a year. still, jobs growth in october and september was revised higher, as has been the recent trend. the government initially undercounting jobs growth and then revising higher later. 6.1 million jobs have been added
and are they sharing it all with police? let s go outfront. good evening. i m erin burnett. out front, tonight, biden still won the 2020 election. maricopa county in arizona, which was run entirely by trump allies has come to the same conclusion every other review has that joe biden won and donald trump did not. in fact, this review which started five months ago and cost $6 $6.1 million, including half a million dollars in tax payer money, found that biden won by an even larger margin than previously thought. so you would think this would be the end of these trump-backed sham audits, right? this would be let s just move on here. sort of, you know, pretend this didn t all happen but it s not. moments after a draft of that report came out today, trump issued a statement saying, quote, the audit has uncovered significant and undeniable evidence of fraud. this is a major criminal event and should be investigated by the attorney general, immediately. spokesperson for the audit, meantime,
worried because the man entrusted by arizona senate republicans to conduct this review is doug logan, the ceo of the florida-based company called cyber ninjas. this joker is currently starring in a movie called the deep rig, which is all about how the election was supposedly stolen from the retiree. yep, that s the guy we re supposed to trust with totally impartial results. that guy who s indulging in a vanity project meant to further his career and his company are costing arizona taxpayers serious money. today, arizona s most populous county announced they will have to fork over millions of dollars to replace the voting machines tainted by doug logan and his cyber ninjas. last month, secretary state kate it hobbs told the supervisor that she believed the security of the county s election machines had been compromised. the last time they bought machines it cost them $6.1 million. understandably, arizona is frankly sick of this stuff.
bamboo, and it s stupid. but, at the same time, it is normalizing the idea that you don t accept the results of an election, you keep recounting until you get what you want. it s so bad that the arizona secretary of state is saying they may not allow maricopa county to reuse the voting machines that they ve been using because they ve been so corrupted. maricopa county has been told that they may not be able to use them and to buy new ones. it would cost about $6.1 million. so taxpayers have to pay for it. but the threat here is that this becomes the way that all elections go when republicans lose. how much should we be concerned about that? that s exactly what, what dale said was what i was going to say in response to whatever you were going to ask me because republicans have been very good. you name the issue on abortion rights, on taking over state legislators. they are all about the long game. they are not short termers. they are about what do we need neighborhood in order to ensu
total fiscal, financial mismanagement by our city council, the board of supervisors, and they vote on bw down to the homeless advocates that are out there, homelessness outreach organizations and activists that fight for the money. and in one way, we can look at this as being the new industry. homeless is an industry here. tech is leaving. this is replacing it, this kind of madness. pete: here s some more of the madness as far as the cost breakdown. as i mentioned, $16.1 million, 2 the 62 tents, $61,000 per tent per year, $5,000 per tent per month. you talk about sort of the industry, the homelessness industry and lobby there. how do you get to $5,000 per tent, per month? who s approving that? well, we have the board of
