Nokia 5G: By 2030, approximately 92% of total mobile subscriptions are expected to be on 4G or 5G technology, Nokia said in its ‘Global Network Traffic 2030 report’ report released Tuesday.
Ericsson has been one of the names often associated with telecom network connectivity around the globe. With their instrumental role in the deployment of 4G and now 5G technology across the globe, Ericsson has been the driving force behind seamless connectivity that often goes unnoticed by the end user
Ericsson said in its latest update of the Mobility Report released Tuesday that around 260 telecom operators have launched commercial 5G services while around 35 telcos have deployed or launched their 5G standalone (SA) networks.
According to the report, a 10 per cent increase in mobile adoption increases GDP by 1 per cent and that rises to approximately 15 per cent when connections are upgraded from one mobile network to another.
