Misery 3rd Act Theatre Company presents Misery, written by William Goldman, based on the novel by Stephen King, and directed by Christine Jolly, as their first Noire production of Season 5: MEMORY.
3rd Act Theatre Company presents Gilligan's Island: The Musical 3rd Act Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company in Oklahoma City, presents its first musical production, Gilligan’s Island: The Musical, with music and lyrics by Hope & Laurence Juber and book by Sherwood Schwartz and Lloyd J Schwartz. The production is directed by Billie Thrash with musical direction by Mariann Searle, and additional choreography by Barbara Bernard. Performances are each Friday and Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. from May 12-28, 2023. Opening Night tickets are “Pay What You Can”, and tickets for all performances are on sale now.
3rd Act Theatre Company presents Harvey Elwood P. Dowd insists on including his friend Harvey in his sister Veta's social gatherings. The trouble is Harvey is an imaginary six-and-a-half-foot-tall rabbit. To avoid embarrassment, she decides to have Elwood committed - but a frantic Veta is mistakenly committed instead. Meanwhile, Elwood and Harvey seem to be having a strange influence on everyone they meet. Could it be that maybe Harvey isn't so bad after all?
EAT, SLAY, LEAVE by Heather Meyer 3rd Act Theatre Company, a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company in Oklahoma City presents the World Premiere of Eat, Slay, Leave written by Heather Meyer and directed by Artistic Director Amandanell Bold. Three women try to take a break from their busy late 30’s lives by having a “self-care” weekend at a cabin in the north woods of Minnesota. However, their misguided relaxation and rejuvenation methods conjure up supernatural forces that terrify them into facing the darkest parts of themselves in order to survive. This horror-comedy production stars a dynamic cast of local talent.
