Mohsen fakhrizadeh died in hospital after gunmen attacked his car outside tehran. Israel has previously accused him of masterminding a covert Nuclear Weapons programme, though it hasnt commented on his assassination. Our security correspondent Gordon Corera has more. But the same day tests showed bacteria in the water and Council Officials met the contractor operating the vessel and on wednesday further samples were taken and there was a further meeting on thursday and people were moved on friday. People were moved as soon as ministers were aware. No people have had health assessments, there has been no concerns in terms of people that have been on the barge. This was intended to be a big, bold demonstration of the government getting tough, tackling immigration, stopping the small boats. Now here at this harbour today, weve met volunteers who have been taking their boats, packing their boats with aid, trying to get over to lahaina to distribute much needed humanitarian aid. People still need food, water, clean drinking water, shelter. The absolute basics at the moment, which are in short supply. And, speaking to everyone, you get the sense that people are traumatised here. Many people from lahaina in particular have lost absolutely everything but, because their humanitarian needs are so great, theyre barely able to process the loss.
