Hero MotoCorp reported a significant sales milestone for January, with 433,598 units sold, reflecting a 22% growth compared to January 2023. Domestic sales came in at 420,934 units, while exports stood at 12,664 units.
Shares of Hero MotoCorp, the world s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, crossed ₹4,000 apiece in today s trade after six years. It is just 0.60% away from its all-time high of ₹4,091 per share.
The 125cc+ segment now accounts for 65.0% of Bajaj Auto s domestic 2W volumes as compared to 50.0% for the industry. The company has gained 500 bps market share on a YoY basis in this segment and is betting big with new product launches.
Bajaj Auto s shares surged to a new historic high of ₹6,039 apiece, surpassing their previous high of ₹5,960 apiece. In November so far, the stock surged 13%, outshining Nifty Auto, which posted an 8% gain during the same period.
