work are the fastest. people wearing headphones are the fastest, walking 4.64 feet per second. the lowest, tourists who move ott what must seem like a snail pace for some. but at least one new yorker we spoke to keeps his sidewalk rage in check. it can be marginally annoying at times. but i tend to take it into stride. what do you have to say to those slow walkers out there? speed up. you re not the only one out there. what about you, bill? the only thing that really annoys me are the people sitting on their phones or blackberrys and they re walking straight like this. they don t move until you re like this close. that and people who want to take pictures, they re clining up, they re across the street. that s crazy.
