Dr. Cheryl Sarmiento, DOH-9 medical officer, said the agency has so far administered a total of 4,238,627 doses of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines all over the region. Of the number, she said 2,084,408 individuals had their first dose of the vaccines. Sarmiento said most of the fully vaccinated individuals are indigents who belonged to the A5 priority group consisting of 444,362. The A4 group comprising front-liners in the essential sector followed with 404,722, and the pediatric 12 to 17 years old without comorbidity with 333,556. Meanwhile, Sarmiento said 301,183 individuals have received their vaccine booster dose, most of whom are from the A4 priority group with 83,435.
