On the 10th of December, a destructive and fatal protracted storm blew over Kentucky, picking up material of different sizes and tossing everything into the stratosphere like gadgets. A prized household portrait was swept up into the windstorm, eventually falling to the ground over 130 miles down the road from the now-destroyed community of Dawson Springs, Kentucky.

A Santa Barbara father is raising funds for his son s school by running more than 30 miles.
Ultra-runner Daniel Torres ran 50 kilometers through Santa Barbara County Sunday morning to show his appreciation for the faculty and staff at Notre Dame School in Santa Barbara.
He ran the entire Obern Trail Bike Path in Goleta starting at 6:45 a.m for the Saints on the Run event.
Torres created a GoFundMe page to collect donations from community members.
As of Sunday evening, he has raised more than $1,000.
