how are people managing through these rolling blackouts? this long, long rolling blackouts, 18 hours? the blackouts, cubans are now living a crisis on top of a crisis. things are already bad for months. there had been very long, chronic power cuts in most of the country. even havana, the capital, where authorities tried to keep the situation a little better, from the 1st of august, that s before this fire, we started having a lot of governments what the called solidarity power outages to share the pain with the rest of the country. and then, this explosion. here in havana, we ve been hit hard. not as hard as the rest of the country, but hit hard. now, three of every four days, there are scheduled power outages. it affects people. just today, before coming to the office, i had to throw out some chicken soup. i made it two days ago. but it s not. funny it s gone off. and here, we have power cuts that left a few hours. in other parts of the country,
