important domestic issue. there are a lot of democrats who say well that is really true, then why didn t you do more on that. why didn t you demand from senator sinema, from senator manchin, a carve out for this. why didn t use the political capital frankly that used on infrastructure, on voting rights. of course the biden administration says that we have to walk and shoes at the same time. with this all underscores, and it connects to january six, republicans have been laser focused on changing the voting laws in this country. we are seeing legislator after legislator. make changes to voting rights. a lot of them restricting voting rights and making it harder to vote. and democrats still have not figured out a strategy to push back against. that that is something that is going to come to a head very quickly in the midterm election and 2024. people are going to find out, they re going to look up and say how are the voting laws different now. and how are people able to make large change
harris: republican lawmakers seeing a bright blue light over all the crime that s coming. democrats liberal policies from the left. many republicans say they believe the crime crisis in america will contribute to a red wave in next year s mid-term elections and they could own both the house and senate. it is something they re looking at. americans are helping them see that. look at the new polling. it shows 61% disapprove of how president biden is handling the crime crisis in this country. former trump senior advisor kellyanne conway was in focus this week. he is failing because people know what they see. they re concerned about public safety matters if their own cities. i believe that education and public safety will the twin pillar issues driving suburban voters in 2022 and 2024. people know what they see.
