Suspected Maine mass shooter Robert Card may have been targeting a former girlfriend when he went on his murderous rampage – and the message he left behind has been described as a suicide note, according to a report.

Robert Card, the Army Reservist who allegedly opened fire at a bowling alley and a sports bar Wednesday night, had been suffering from hearing loss in the months leading up to the rampage in which at least four members of the deaf community were killed.
An aerial patrol including planes and drones have been deployed in Androscoggin county near the Lisbon boat launch where Card’s Subaru was found late Wednesday.
