Codenamed P703 for the global version and P703N for the United States, the brand-new Ranger has been spied with familiar design traits. Maverick influences galore up front, where you’ll find two bars that integrate the Ford logo and connect the C-shaped headlamps. C-shaped daytime running lights are featured as well, along with LED fog lights.
Ford has teased the upcoming Ranger pickup truck, which is set to be revealed later this year. The midsize model has received a different type of camouflage, which leaves little to the imagination. The Blue Oval even revealed the hashtag for the reveal of the next-generation Ranger, which is #NextGenRanger.

Revived in the United States for the 2019 model year with many similarities to the overseas Ranger, the mid-sized pickup is currently offered in two flavors. The SuperCab with the six-foot (1.83-meter) box is the least expensive variant available, but the body style to get is the SuperCrew with the five-foot (1.52-meter) bed. 11 photos
Over in Europe, the single-cabbed Ranger is available as a chassis cab or with a 7.6-foot (2.31-meter) cargo area. Ford currently tests the latter on the streets of Dearborn, which signals a brand-new option for the North American market for model year 2023. However, the chassis cab isn’t likely to happen because there’s no demand for this variant in this part of the world.
It’s been quite some time since the rumor mill started getting our hopes up about the Ranger PHEV. But the inevitable will happen, according to Hans Schep, the head of commercial vehicles at Ford’s European arm.

Introduced 11 years ago, the Amarok is scheduled to receive a second generation in 2022 for the 2023 model year. Based on the all-new Ranger from the Ford Motor Company, the mid-size pickup truck is expected to get an off-road variant by VW Australia executives such as Nick Reid. 23 photos
Speaking to Motoring.com.au, the commercial vehicle marketing and product manager said
“there’s still a place for an off-road version. This market is huge and you can’t ignore that, so it’s something at the back of our minds.” Unfortunately for expecting customers, Mr. Reid hasn’t confirmed if this model will be a Volkswagen-Walkinshaw collaborative effort such as the tarmac-focused Amarok W580 or just a badge-engineered Ranger Raptor.
