Codenamed WS, the Wagoneer and its more luxurious Grand Wagoneer sibling offer a blend of four-by-four capability, high refinement on the road, modern design cues, and a few touches of craftsmanship. No fewer than three 4x4 systems will be available at launch in the guise of the Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II with active low range and an electronic LSD.

Jeep has provided the first glimpse of its much-anticipated Grand Wagoneer SUV, which will enter the market later this year with a price tag that ranges from $86,995 to $111,000, depending on the configuration.
The SUV, which features three rows of seating, was unveiled online on Thursday.
The Grand Wagoneer SUV is a premium model of the more affordable Jeep Wagoneer, which has a starting price of $57,995. Unlike the Jeep Wagoneer counterpart, the Grand Wagoneer includes higher-end features apparent in the exterior, powertrain, and amenity offerings.
“Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are born from Jeep, but their character is different than the rest of the brand,” Jeep CEO Christian Meunier said during the media briefing (via CNBC). “They are modern and forward-looking. There is a pure DNA we’re building on to make these products absolutely unique.”

The imposing 2022 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer are finally coming to slot their massive body-on-frame above the current Grand Cherokee and all-new seven-seat Grand Cherokee L. We’ve known that for some time already, and even witnessed the revival in concept form this past September.
Now it’s almost time for the real deal, and we can already detect the connections between the pre-production series model that will be featured on the red carpet and the earlier concept version, thanks to a recent preview on social media.

The 3.6-liter motor is rated at 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet (364 Nm) of torque in the Ram 1500.
