MG Motor India is all set to expand the Hector line-up with one more variant. This time it is the CVT automatic gearbox that will be offered on the MG Hector and it will be launched on February 11, 2021. The new CVT variant comes just weeks after the Hector facelift was introduced last month in the country with a number of upgrades. The new CVT gearbox will be paired with the existing petrol engine and will be the second auto box to be offered, in addition to the dual-clutch transmission (DCT).

MG, which is owned by China s largest carmaker SAIC, had entered the Indian market with a bang in 2019 with the Hector receiving instant success.
