Kyree Campbell - Defensive Tackle Florida Gators Scouting Report
Scouting report for NFL Draft prospect Kyree Campbell
Author:
Overview:
Death, taxes and the University of Florida developing next-level talent. Campbell is a battle-tested interior lineman for the Gators who played a lot of football during his career. Boasting a nice athletic profile for an interior defensive lineman, Campbell has some gap shooting potential. He is equally as explosive as he is flexible, creating an interesting overall athlete with pass-rushing upside moving forward. Overshadowed by some talented edge rushers over the last couple years, he has quietly flashed the ability to garner a lot more notoriety. Campbell may be limited as a gap shooter, lacking the “sand in his pants” to anchor against double teams. His pad level does him no favors to counteract power at the point of attack, too often popping straight up and giving up his chest. There just isn’t much upside on a three-down basis to g
Cameron Murray - Defensive Tackle Oklahoma State Cowboys Scouting Report
Scouting report for NFL Draft prospect Cameron Murray
Author:
Overview:
A two-year starter with a decent resume relative to his talents, Murray has been a solid contributor to the Cowboys defense. With that said, it doesn’t seem like he has a ton of development potential for the next level. He’s an oddly shaped one-technique with tiny legs and a filled-out torso and his thin lower half is going to make life tough when it comes to holding his ground at the point of attack. His athleticism doesn’t stand out on tape and he doesn’t seem to have the quickness or pass-rushing refinement to make much happen getting after the quarterback. Murray is also a notorious leverage sacrificer and he has an incredibly difficult time staying low throughout the play. The goal coming into his rookie year should be to get a tryout opportunity in the NFL, an incredibly tall task given the current COVID-19 limitations st
Josiah Bronson - Defensive Tackle Washington Huskies Scouting Report
Scouting report for NFL Draft prospect Josiah Bronson
Author:
Overview:
Starting his career at Temple, Bronson transferred to Washington and was a two-year starter for the Huskies lining up at three-technique and nose tackle. He does well to keep his pads low throughout his rush, allowing him to uproot blockers occasionally. When tasked to operate as a spy, he processes quickly and does not let the passer escape the pocket. Bronson is a below-average athlete who often is the last one off the ball. A lack of length causes him to get outreached and controlled by blockers too easily. His hands are sloppy and not violent enough to consistently defeat opposing blockers. In the run game, he gets driven off the ball too frequently as he lacks the strength to push and disrupt. Bronson is unlikely to stick on a practice squad let alone a roster due to his many limitations. He will likely need to put on some weight and
Jerome Johnson - Defensive Tackle Indiana Hoosiers Scouting Report
Scouting report for NFL Draft prospect Jerome Johnson
Author:
Overview:
A four-year contributor along Indiana’s defensive line, the three-technique has racked up 13.5 sacks along with 63 tackles in 45 appearances. Johnson has long arms that allow him to stab the chest of blockers and outreach them successfully. At extension, he is able to flow with lateral runs and disengage to either side. His pad level is consistently low, displaying disciplined play. He is an average athlete who lacks the get-off, burst and twitch to threaten gaps as a penetrator. His hands are slow and predictable, which hurts his block deconstruction. While he has the strength to twist blockers at extension, Johnson is often unable to press blockers off his chest and reach full extension. He is a slow processor, not recognizing penetration abilities and losing gap integrity despite his length. At the point of attack, he gets washed by com
Jaylen Twyman - Defensive Tackle Pittsburgh Panthers Scouting Report
Scouting report for NFL Draft prospect Jaylen Twyman
Author:
JAYLEN TWYMAN | Pittsburgh | DT | #97 | rJr | 6015 | 290 | 5.04e | Washington, DC | H.D. Woodson | 07.19.99
Overview:
An underrated talent, Twyman has the type of pass-rush prowess that will have NFL teams clamoring when the 2021 draft officially begins. Despite his young age, Twyman has a mature approach that is wise beyond his years. He’s technically refined with some savvy hand usage when working the up-field shoulder. With a quick first step and plus short-area quickness, Twyman is able to create pressure early in reps. He shows the talent to win towards the up-field shoulder and with various counter moves. He is fresh off a season where he created constant havoc across the ACC, eventually leading to All-America honors. The 2020 season was supposed to be his big finale, but Twyman ultimately decided to opt out. There is an easy pass-rush proje
