DETROIT – It’s going to be another busy orange barrel season in Wayne County.
Construction season is underway in Michigan’s largest county, and work will continue on several projects into the late fall months.
The county will invest over $100M into its infrastructure this construction season. Improvements will consist of over 25 road construction projects and 8 bridge capital improvement projects and nearly 70 pavement improvement projects covering primary and local roads.
In addition to their road and bridge projects, the county will also invest over $5M into improving county-owned parks. Some of these improvements include: continued renovations to exhibits at Nankin Mills, the installation of an outdoor fitness gym and senior exercise equipment at Bell Creek Park and upgrades to their favored Dog Park. Additionally, the Parks Divis
