VOORHEES TWP., New Jersey (WPVI) A New Jersey family had an exciting start to 2021.
Baby Aniela came into the world at 12:05 a.m. on New Year s Day at Virtua Voorhees Hospital. She was definitely something we were looking forward to, gushed mom Kirsten, of Clementon, who held her newborn alongside her husband Pablo.
They named her Aniela, which her parents explained has several meanings. Gracious and merciful, and it also means messenger of God , said Kirsten. We re so blessed having this baby and having the opportunity to be parents again, Pablo said.

They returned to hospital where Mrs Aldave learned she was now eight centimetres dilated. Mr Aldave said they had been told to expect about one centimetre dilation every two hours and thought Ahrabella would be born about midnight or early in the morning . But Mrs Aldave laughed she had been standing by her hospital bed when she was told the baby was on its way. (She) just popped out, Mrs Aldave said. So quick. Ahrabella was born at 2.30pm on Friday, and now new big sister Ahxeia cannot wait to get her home. Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital announced their first baby born in 2021 on Friday.
In a series of firsts, Anthony and Recbecca Jewett welcomed their first child, Emerson Grant Jewett, the first baby born at Henry Mayo in 2021.
“I would say it was a series of firsts,” Anthony said. “It was wild. We had no kids prior, the first time. First time seeing water break, first time being admitted to the delivery ward, seeing tests done once we arrived. Everything going on… And then we have this tiny human we have all this love for.”
