washington impact some of these races that we re seeing and the fact amongst both your party and the republicans as they try to hold on to these seats? first of all, i think governor hickenlooper is definitely on to something. i was proud in both of my gubernatorial campaigns i didn t have to run any negative ads. unfortunately people run them because they work and that s unfortunate. i agree with dan. it s tough to nationalize a governor s race. governors don t get judged based on the quality of our rhetoric. we get judged on whether we re improving the economy, improving schools and being a good steward of taxpayers money. and weigh in, if you would, on 2016. obviously this was ground for a lot of potential 2016 candidates to come out and voice their opinions. does it get in the way at all of the broader goals of what the rga is there to do? i did not think it did in this case. some of the people who might run
conversation about whether or not a woman is going to run for president in 2016. obviously most of the speculation is around hillary clinton, but i also think there s a very strong possibility a republican woman may end up on the ticket. what are the responsibilities of male media? is this male politicians in how they have discussions about women, giving them all the same harsh treatment because women are in the ring, but at the same time, not dplon straiting the kinds of normalizing of sexualedable violence against women. exactly. and i think there s an intersection between the politics and the policy. and the culture. yep. ch. and i do think what we see happening is there is still different treat of women when women run for office. taurki i talking about post partum depression. you hear things you would never hear about men. hean wh
a single warrant is being applied to everybody who has a cell phone and rel really everybody that has a land line, too. everybody who has a phone connection. that sounds to us like a general warrant. it says the warrant should be specific to the individual. you re telling me a single warrant can apply to everybody who has an at&t phone call. that sounds like it does go against what our founding fathers intended in the fourth amendment. i think we will be heard. i think we have a strong argument. things are complicated by how big a class is. we didn t decide the size of the class. this is by the arrogance of the government. it shows the enormity and the egregiousness of the government s intrusion. let me ask you one other thing before we go and that is 2016. obviously the democratic front-runner right now is hillary clinton. you ve been aggressive against
i think victoria is absolutely right. when you look back over the course of the last several years it s going to be hard for christie to walk away from the fact that he referred to the republican base as crazies. i think this is going to be something that will be a recurring problem for him that will make it very challenging for him in primaries and caucuses in 2016. it s like you re a star witness in a criminal trial or something and i m interrogating you. it s possible, but we don t know until we see. lee, let me ask you about this, when it comes to whether or not chris christie is really the candidate for the gop come 2016, it didn t seem like dick cheney really had the i guess the seeing eye of knowing if there really is a standout candidate come 2016. obviously it s not like somebody like kries christie for him. the republican primary since 1968 has been more or less chosen by the party establishment. everyone from richard nixon through mccain and mitt romney. so for chris c
you re hearing, i thought 2012 was a circus. this is going to be phenomenal in 2016, isn t it? i mean, look, every republican primary is entertaining to watch. also a democratic primaries. ted cruz s father is going to be a force on the campaign trail. but he reminds me in some ways of the dynamic between hillary and bill in 2008 where bill was profoundly eve as i an surrogate but also very difficult for the campaign to control and had the power to knock the campaign off message for days at a time. we ll see that in 2016. obviously there are differences. i never recalled president clinton saying that people were having an intellectual competition in their minds between god and government. i don t think they re probably on the same side of the ideological spectrum. i do think rafael cruz is going to be out front in the campaign trail in 2016. this will be a blessing and a curse. that s wonderful. he may outdo you kaine. will the in the long run,
