The City of Galveston needs your input!
Back in October, the City of Galveston s Cultural Arts Commission began accepting designs for a new city flag.
The designs had to stay within these guidelines:
Keep it simple enough that a child can draw it from memory.
Use meaningful symbolism.
No lettering or seals.
A restaurant in California, called Playa Provisions, got an online order with a twist.
This order was from a Texas couple, Donielle and Jaclyn, who had no intention of picking up their food.
They love the restaurant, but can t travel, so they decided to buy breakfast for someone else.

Not only did that picture go viral, but it inspired others to do the same!
People from all over started placing online orders, just so the food can be given to someone else.
Brooke says she s been able to supply food for first responders, medical staff and so many others.
