RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. â A funeral service was held for Dexter Fergusson at Victory Tabernacle of Prayer in Riviera Beach.
Dexter, who was known by his nickname Peanut , was just 7 years old when he and his mother were shot inside their home on April 14. His mother survived the shooting.
Riviera Beach police are still looking for a suspect in that shooting. If you have information to contribute, please call Riviera Beach police at (561) 845-4123.

A 7-year-old boy from Hyderabad has become one of the youngest in the world to scale Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa at 19,341 feet.
Virat Chandra achieved the rare feat on March 6 and said he was scared but wanted to reach his goal. The 7-year-old said he was inspired to make the climb after listening to inspiring stories from his cousins. I talked to my cousins about their experience of climbing mountains. At that moment I also wanted to climb like them. I had a discussion with my parents about my interest, they approached Bharath sir, my coach, who trained me, says Virat.

A seven-year old boy who received a heart transplant on February 1 was discharged from a Hanoi hospital Wednesday.
He is the youngest patient ever that has gone through such an operation in Vietnam. A month after the surgery, his condition has stabilized and he could walk and play normally.
However, doctors at the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital, where the operation was done, reminded the family not to let the boy engage in too much physical activity or get emotional.

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Slippery conditions likely contributed to crashes that injured two teenagers in Olmsted and Winona Counties last night and this morning on crashes.
The State Patrol is reporting a 17-year-old boy was transported to St. Marys Hospital last night following a crash on Highway 52 just southeast of Rochester. The teenager was driving a small SUV south on the highway around 9:30 PM when the vehicle slid into a guardrail and then rolled onto the median cable about halfway between the Marion Road and I-90 interchanges. The teenager’s name has not been released, but the State Patrol says his injuries were described as non-life threatening.
