A man has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for raping a minor girl in Vadodara. The special court (POCSO) in Savli convicted the 44-year-old man, Jagdish Parmar, of raping the girl in 2013. Parmar had lured the girl with a promise of marriage and fled with her. He was later arrested and the girl was reunited with her family. Parmar had a history of multiple marriages before getting involved with the minor girl.
