• KITA • Album Release Tour
Following hot on the heels of their recently released single Private Lives, Wellington-based KITA are delighted to announce a tour around Aotearoa in support of their debut self-titled album, visiting 8 centres this June.
Firmly on the ‘ones-to-watch’ list in a vibrant local music scene, KITA s sound builds a dreamscape of synth-pop, with stunning melodies layered over soulful beats. The three-piece – consisting of vocalist, guitarist, and writer Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant, keyboardist Ed Zuccollo (The Black Seeds, Trinity Roots, Troy Kingi, Hollie Smith), and drummer Rick Cranson (Little Bushman) – happily play in the space between genre, melding a distinctive style peppered with moments of modern jazz, vintage rock, polished pop, and grounding soul.
something that the president has held as a priority and for the vice president as well. you know, what is interesting about this, today as the president we re anticipating to walk up in the white house and step up to that lectern and then to the table to sign this bill, today follows that rally that the president just had in nashville, tennessee where he talked about taking a fresh look at healthcare issues. so as that happens live, we ll take you there. let s come back to the issue at hand and talk a little bit more about what we think needs to be done before july 12, katie. june 12. june 12. 13 days away. it takes 1 1/2 days to get there. we re looking at ten days that we have between now and then. it s important to go back to the beginning of this when the president agreed to meet with kim jong-un at the summit. they said at the beginning, we re not putting any agreements on the table. this is a first step. so there can be conditions that are put down on the table for discussion.
well, it s certainly something that north korea has said at every single exercise ever conducted by south korea and the coalition partners. so this is just another iteration of that kind of dialogue. and, brian, you know, ambassador yun is the expert in all of this, but it seems to me no matter what the dialogue is, we re talking about the difference between politics and national security issues. when you re talking about those kinds of things, one phrase always comes up in my mind if you want it bad, you re going to get it bad. we are 18 days away from the proposed date of 12 june. during that period of time, a lot of groundwork has to go into it, and truthfully that s not a lot of time to prepare for a conference of this magnitude, a summit of this magnitude. so i m just very concerned no matter which side of the aisle you re on that we have surrendered the initiative to north korea. they are now making the demands
