Anna Wrzesińska, Chairperson of the Local Assembly Planning Committee (LAPC), spoke during the synod meeting of the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland (ECACP), which took place from 22 to 24 April, giving an update on the preparations for the Thirteenth Assembly of The Lutheran World Federation (LWF).

In a letter sent to member churches, the LWF, General Secretary Anne Burghardt called for nominations of delegates to the Thirteenth LWF Assembly, which will take place in Krakow, Poland, from 13 to 19 September 2023.
The LWF has launched a multi-lingual website for its Thirteenth Assembly that will take place, 13-19 September 2023, in Krakow, Poland https://2023.lwfassembly.org/. The website offers a wide range of information on the assembly including its theme, “One Body, One Spirit, One Hope,” and about the host church, the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland.
“We have worked together online, but now we were able to visit the sites in Krakow, so that we can prepare the program even better,” said Bishop Dr Tamas Fabiny, Chair of the APC, when the committee met in October.
