we play pretend a lot. so my younger daughter who is 2 1/2, we re pretending that the ballistic missiles exploding are just fireworks. the older daughter, we are trying to kind game we play is not as possible for her. one of the solutions she s found is the wireless headphones, so she keeps them on continuously with the music playing so she doesn t hear the booms. the house is shaking but she can live with that. but there is resolve even among children. it is not like that they are crying to us to take them away somewhere. everyone understands that being look, this is a place to make that stand, for the good of the world, for the good to prevail. and we won t run. but it is just a question of getting help to prevent loss of life, that would save our relationship with the west and prevent the disillusionment once this is all over. but don t be pessimistic. we ll win this. i will tell you this, though
veterans launched a nationwide search to reunite the flag with organization joined us on fox & friends last week to tell us more about hisic search. this flag was found by a caltrans c so he brought it to us, not knowing what to do. so for the last week 1/2 we ve been diligently trying to find the home where this flag needs to be returned. pete: he is back today with a very special update. joining us now is u.s. marine veteran duke cooper, founder of american veterans first. duke, thanks for being here this morning. we re noticing you re not with the flag this morning. you have an update for us. yes, sir. the flag has gone home. we found, thanks to fox & friends and after our last segment christmas eve.
1.9%, 2%, that s not a crazy number, right. when you have a market that s up 30%, to see a pullback like that. when you add that to the 8 1/2 we ve had, we re almost at 10%. we re almost in what you call a correction territory. some people think that s really scary. the market s 10% from its highs. the highs on all the major markets were set on january 26. the dow, the s&p and the nasdaq. keep in mind there are a lot of investors, a lot of pros out there the saying, wow, as soon as we hit that correction, a tj lea technical level, 10%, i m getting back in. we re not going to get into all the technicals. you and i like to talk about them, the price to earnings ratio. there are few people who thought stocks three weeks ago were at acceptable levels. a lot of them thought the market was a little bit frothy. i m actually heartened by this 1.25%. because i saw numbers that looked at 3% projections.
hourer 1/2 we were hiding upstairs and we heard gun shots. we thought was a suicide vest. so just started handing out water to everyone and trying to keep everyone okay. it was just crazy and next thing about an hour and half later police knock on the shutter and call for me to give them the keys to open the shutter and everyone gets escorted out of there hands on their heads. it was so crazy. so, jack, did you hear two separate times what sounded to be gun shots? it was more than twice, i d say. six or seven times we heard gun shots going off down the street. each time three or four maybe more gun shots. first time heard probably about 10 or 15 gun shots. when did you see the men in the vest you describe?
this cartoon character online. it is hard to believe, carol. we talk to a lot of people yesterday including one woman who does a lot of research into children s thinking and into children s ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy and she says really by the age of 2 1/2, we can start figuring out what s real and what s not and as we get older and older we put what s real in that box and what s not real in the other box. she was saying she really doesn t believe that by age 12 there is any difference between a 12 year old s ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy and an adult ability to do that so believing that there s a lot more going on that might have contributed to their thinking or to this whole crime that took place. the other thing in this story, these 12-year-old suspects were supposedly planning this killing for months, right? it just didn t come on the spur of the moment. are we overreacting to this
