MANGALURU: Guests attending weddings must carry a hard copy of the invitation, an ID proof and a soft copy of the permission letter obtained from the local body during the weekend curfew. For the time being, it is important to follow this rule till May 4, said deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra, here on Wednesday.
The state government on Tuesday stated that marriages are permitted but must be carried out by strictly adhering to Covid-appropriate behaviour (CAB) with a maximum of 50 people.
The deputy commissioner asked those organising wedding parties to submit a guest list of not more than 50 people, including priests (archaks), photographers and videographers to the urban local bodies or PDOs in gram panchayat limits. A copy of the permission letter should be shared with all the guests.
