Students from 14 Central Minnesota schools are participating in, and leading, GREAT Theatre’s production of “Charlotte’s Web.” The beloved classic comes to the Helgeson Learning Lab Theatre stage and will be available virtually to audiences. Already, more than 8,000 students from schools, daycares and homeschools have signed up to view the performance. The students are largely from programs throughout Minnesota, but also include students from across the country including those from New Jersey, Michigan, Kansas, Wisconsin and Nevada. For this particular performance, high school students, under the mentorship of theater professionals, are designing the set and costumes as well as the lighting and sound, youth are also directing the production and in charge of filming the show so it can be viewed virtually.
