Police identify victim of shooting outside Hillsboro bar on Monday morning, Aug. 2. A man is dead after an early Monday morning, Aug. 2, shooting in a Hillsboro bar parking lot, according to police. Officers responded at 12:49 a.m. to reports of an assault and gunshots outside the 18 23 Mystery Bar at 1823 S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway, said Sgt. Clint Chrz, spokesman for the Hillsboro Police Department. A 40-year-old victim was found dead in the parking lot with gunshot wounds, Chrz said. Late Monday morning, police identified the victim as Mauricio Edwardo Ponce-Gonzalez, 40.
