Driver, 66, crashes stolen car after high-speed pursuit on I-94

The driver, a Farmington man, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, on I-94 near Lakeside Road in Berrien County, state police said.
Earlier, troopers were advised of about a possible stolen vehicle going west on I-94 near Red Arrow High. Police spotted the vehicle, confirmed it had been stolen and tried to pull it over.
The driver did not stop and led on a high-speed pursuit, police said. The driver continued for several miles before he appeared to deliberately crash into the guardrail on the right side of the highway.
