Expansion: Alison Rowley has joined Taylors Solicitors as a senior associate A BLACKBURN solicitors firm has expanded its disputes team saying that demand has grown due to the pandemic and the fallout from Brexit. Taylors Solicitors, based in Rawlings House, Exchange St, Ewood, says that it has seen a surge in business from companies involved in a range of legal disputes. These include poor contractual performance and shareholder clashes at owner-managed and family-owned companies, many of which have come under pressure during the Covid-19 crisis. Managing partner Elaine Hurn said: Due to the fallout from the pandemic, we have seen a marked increase in demand from clients for support on commercial disputes of various types, and we expect this to rise further as government support schemes come to an end.

Solicitor continues to grow with arrival of new partner

A SOLICITORS has strengthened its team with the arrival of a commercial disputes partner. Taylors Solicitors has welcomed partner Stuart Farr to the north west practice from national firm Knights, where he was a partner. Stuart becomes the eighth partner at Taylors, which has an office on Exchange Street in Blackburn and another office space in Manchester.
