Nintendo E3 2021 Predictions: Switch Pro, Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4
Nintendo’s release schedule for the past year hasn’t been too impressive, so we’re expecting big things. We’ve tried to keep our
Nintendo E3 2021 predictions realistic, so we’ve not put Mother 3 or an Earthbound remake on here. Instead, we’ve stuck with things that should get announced sooner or later, regardless of whether they make the cut for E3 2021 or not.
Nintendo E3 2021 Predictions: Switch Pro
It seems like we’ve heard predictions of a Switch Pro since the Switch debuted, but things may finally be coming to a head. Recently “leaks” about the Switch Pro have skyrocketed, and some of these are coming from reputable sources. If these rumors are true, Nintendo will be releasing an enhanced Switch soon, and what better place to reveal it than E3 2021?
Last year the Nintendo Switch makers went all out to celebrate Mario s 35th birthday.
In the run up to the anniversary of the original Famicom release of Super Mario Bros, Nintendo held a Super Mario 35th Anniversary Direct.
During that broadcast the recently released Super Mario 3D World + Bowser s Fury was announced along with an AR Mario Kart game, a Mario themed Game & Watch as well as Super Mario 3D All-Stars.
Considering the Mario 35th Anniversary was such a big deal, it seems likely Nintendo could mark Zelda s 35th Anniversary in a similar way.
The Zelda 35th Anniversary falls on a Sunday, and while Nintendo has held Directs before on a weekend they usually stick to weekdays for big announcements.
