A man shot over a month ago on the northwest side died Sunday.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a person shot at about 5:10 p.m. on June 4 on the 3100 block of Brouse Avenue. The man was transported to an area hospital and aggravated assault detectives began an investigation. Despite the best efforts by medical professionals, the victim passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021, IMPD Lieutenant Shane Foley said in a press release.
Police ask that anyone with information about this incident should call the IMPD Homicide Office at 317-327-3475 or Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477 or (TIPS).

A person shot on the east side Sunday night was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead after arrival.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police officers responded to a person shot around 9:13 p.m. on the 7400 block of Marianne Avenue. IMPD Lieutenant Shane Foley said via email that the victim was in critical condition upon their arrival, but later died.
