Kusal Perera’s brilliant hundred and Dushmantha Chameera’s fiery five-wicket haul kept Bangladesh from completing a 3-0 sweep over Sri Lanka as the visitors won the final one-day international by 97 runs at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.
Perera made 120 off 122 balls, his third century against Bangladesh in ODIs, and Dhananjaya de Silva made an unbeaten 55 off 70 balls to propel Sri Lanka to 286-6 in 50 overs after choosing to bat first.

BCB to host U-19 triangular series in Nov

A Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Saturday that they will host an Under-19 triangular series involving India and Afghanistan in November.
Bangladesh Under-19 cricketers started their training camp ahead of their series against Afghanistan at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Friday.
A BCB official said that the camp is taking place to prepare the players ahead of a bilateral series against Afghanistan in India.
“We have started the training camp as a preparation for the series against Afghanistan, which will take place in Greater Noida, India which is the home of Afghanistan cricket team. All the coaching staff members are present in the camp,” BCB game development manager AEM Kawser told reporters on Saturday.
