FRANKFURT: The number of charging points for electric vehicles in Germany has increased by more than 10per cent in the past three months to reach 39,538, energy industry association BDEW said on Wednesday.
Germany's energy regulator has opened a third bidding round for operators of hard coal-fired power stations to compete for compensation to close their capacity, part of the country's shift towards carbon-free power.
