ALABASTER, Ala. (WBRC) - A 76-year-old Alabaster man is charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Disseminating Child Pornography following an investigation.
Alabaster Police officers said they arrested Bobby Joe Seales, 76, following an investigation which began after a cyber tip was reported for inappropriate online activity.
Seales was booked and released on $40,000 bond.
Alabama State Code 13A-12-192, Possession of Child Pornography, is a class C felony and holds a penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - One Thompson High senior is finally back home after months at Children’s Hospital where he fought to survive a brain hemorrhage.
His family thought he had a stroke on Thanksgiving, and he was rushed to the hospital. They had no idea that he wouldn’t come home for three months.
Michael Button’s friends and family had waited for today, for months. They lined the street of his house, on both sides of the road, waiting for his arrival, back from the hospital.

ALABASTER., Ala. (WBRC) - Alabaster Police arrested a Montevallo man Wednesday for theft and robbery that took place at the Walmart in Alabaster earlier this month.
29-year-old Adam Stephens was taken into custody by the US Marshals Service’s Fugitive Task Force and charged with robbery first degree and Theft of property fourth degree that occurred at the local Walmart on January 16.
His bonds total $33,000.
“We want to thank the public for assisting in the identification of this individual” stated Chief Curtis Rigney.
