BAINBRIDGE (WBNG) The Bainbridge Chamber of Commerce will be presenting an abbreviated canoe regatta from May 28 to 31.
Due to COVID restrictions, the race is without a set starting point. However, there will still be a variety of events including a virtual 70 mile course running from Cooperstown, N.Y. to Bainbridge, N.Y.
Then the Generation Gap race, which begins in Sidney, N.Y., will kick off the in-person events on May 28 followed by scout races on May 29, taking place on Unadilla River at 1 p.m. To enter a scout race, contact Eileen Tallmadge at 607-639-2476.
