Please note that I am not a political scholar but I can use a dictionary. Plutocracy is defined as a state or society governed or controlled by people of great wealth or income. Think Clive Palmer, Gina Rhinehart and Rupert Murdoch to name just a few who can pull political strings. Corporatocracy is a term used to refer to an economic and political system controlled by corporations or corporate interests.

Just about everyone is happy to see the end of 2020 and are hoping for a better 2021. But when it comes to climate change, hope is not enough to ensure a better future.
