A new series of adverts for Samsung offers an intimate and uplifting insight into the processes of two beloved British creatives, Jim Moir (aka Vic Reeves) and Yinka Ilori. Directed by Ben Falk with Odelay Films and agency Rapp, the two spots take a calm documentary style, following the artist/comedian and designer as they explore their local area and create in their studios using a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+. Along the way, we hear personal snippets about how lockdown has affected them and their work.
Travel-based show with Jools Holland
Vic Reeves has made a new podcast series with Jools Holland.
Under his real name, Jim Moir, the comic and his musician pal will invite guests to share their favourite travel tales.
Episode one of Jools And Jim’s Joyride, which has been released today, features Reeves’s comedy partner Bob Mortimer, who stories about the time he had a gun pointed at him in LA and an awkward run-in with Michael Jackson s entourage.
All three of them briefly formed Gentleman’s Motorcycle Club with rules including raising your helmet whenever you pass a lady.
