Columbia Association (CA) has released its draft Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 budget. Once approved by the CA Board of Directors (Board), the FY 2022 spending plan will cover the 12-month period from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022. Over the next several weeks, the Board will discuss and receive input from the public on the draft FY 2022 budget. The Board is scheduled to vote on a final version of the FY 2022 budget in late February.

Isle Of Wight Radio’s Guide To Christmas Church Services

Isle of Wight Radio has compiled a list of some of the church services taking place on the Island over the festive period.
As previously reported, the Island remains in Tier One restrictions, meaning places of worship CAN open under COVID-secure measures.
Those attending religious services are expected to follow the rule of six though – with larger families exempt.

From covert intelligence operations and governmental logistics work to authoring and editing publications and serving myriad organizations, McLean resident Armand Weiss accomplished much in his nearly 90-year-long life.
Weiss, 89, who died Nov. 27 at his home after several health setbacks, was a âtruly amazing, unique individual and he will be sorely missed,â said Supervisor John Foust (D-Dranesville) during the Board of Supervisorsâ Dec. 1 meeting.
âHe was very active in the community and was a great citizen and a good friend to us all,â said Robert Jackson, president of the McLean Citizens Association, for which Weiss at one time served as second vice president.
