Erie County Health Department to hold more Shot and a Chaser vaccination clinics

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) â The Erie County Department of Health says nearly 150 people received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at a pop-up clinic at Resurgence Brewing Company on Chicago Street, May 8.
According to a spokesperson for the health department 146 people had their first COVID-19 vaccine dose at the brewery.
Those who attended the clinic received a free drink token they can redeem at the brewery.

BUFFALO, N.Y. According to New York State Health Department data, nearly 50% of all New Yorkers have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine and local health departments have been shifting efforts as they try to get as many people as they can vaccinated.
Just a month ago, the Transit Drive-In, a Niagara County mass vaccination clinic, was vaccinating 3,000 to 4,000 people within a two day span but Public Health Director Dan Stapleton said those numbers have been dropping.
