Look at some of these high temperatures. We got into the mid even upper eighties in some spots today. However, we did see that change in air mass. Once that cold front cross through the region during the afternoon, It ushered in some cooler temperatures and some drier air. So the two points have dropped off since earlier today. As we head through the overnight period, we re talking about a cooler night to lows along the coast will only be in the 40s and look at these mountain numbers as you head towards the higher terrain by Berlin and Rangeley, we could be dropping back into the low thirties and that s going to be cold enough to support the potential for a frost. I mean we saw sunshine return saturday and sunday and we saw the warm temperatures out there today. Portland, Lewiston auburn Augusta all getting up into the upper sixties near 70 degrees. Some spots did hit 70 degrees today including Wiscasset and Sanford Rockland hitting 69. So yeah definitely a warm end to our weekend. But that all changes as we head into this coming week. Look at the temperature is expected for tomorrow for monday. We only get into the fifties for high. Some inland spots could come closer to 60 degrees but certainly along the coast. I think low fifties mid fifties if that is all we re gonna get to. So yeah a much cooler day expected. We re going to have that wind direction coming in off of the w

Of course not quite as warm as what we saw saturday, but at least we did get some sunshine to break out of those clouds today. As we head through the overnight though we are seeing clouds increase again and temperatures will generally be in the upper thirties, so not too cool. Not super mild, but comfortable for the most part for this time of year. And then as we head through the day monday, it does look like we see mostly cloudy skies. Here s what the storm tracker looks like. We ve got a batch of clouds to our north and east, batch of clouds to our south and west and heading overnight that s gonna merge together and we re gonna see these clouds filling in across the area. Show Transcript Thanks for watching. I m meteorologist Jacqueline thomas. Of course we saw the warmth on saturday but short lived as we see cooler air through sunday and much of the upcoming week. The overnight lows into early Sunday morning though still hanging on to some of that mild air as low as only dip back into the lower 40s for most spots under mainly cloudy skies and the clouds stick around as we head through the day. On sunday, I do think though it stays mainly dry as we head through the day. There could be an isolated shower in a couple of spots early and then sunday night into early monday, a few showers will start to creep into southern New Hampshire and approach your county. So I can t rule out a few sprinkles there either, but most of the time will be dry during the day, just not going to be as bright or a
