Brading residents had their Covid walks made even better thanks to the town s Happy Hearts initiative. Brading Residents Association organised the February Happy Hearts to demonstrate a caring for the community and one another. It says it is designed to bring joy to walkers and, hopefully, raise a smile or two. Local artist Lucy Bell, designed three heart templates for the association which could be printed off, or collected when out walking. Association spokesman Sue Birch said: Lots of benefits have been derived from this activity, with the joy of being creative with the colouring and putting your own interpretation on the original designs.
