Stoneham Chamber of Commerce open scholarship applications

The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce recently opened the application period for their annual scholarship program to high school graduating seniors.
The chamber currently offers three $1,000 scholarships. The Kathleen E. Bray and John F. Mahoney Jr. scholarships are limited to chamber members, their employees and/or children/grandchildren, as well as their employee’s children/grandchildren. The third scholarship, the Business Scholarship, is open to all graduating seniors who reside in Stoneham regardless of affiliation to the chamber.
To complete the chamber’s scholarship application process, students are asked to submit the following:

We caught up with two alumnae from the full-time MBA at HHL Leipzig’s Graduate School of Management to find out their tips for thriving in business. Both credit their experiences gained at HHL as vital to their success.

To obtain information, people use communication software to exchange facts and ideas that will mutually benefit one another.
From painting cave walls, we have evolved as humans to new technologies. We now share information with others through hundreds of different communication apps, such as Messenger, Snapchat, and Instagram. This communication happening across a multitude of applications and services that aren’t integrated is called fragmented communication. I believe that it is difficult to decide if the fragmentation of communication is a good or bad thing because of the complexity involving its pros and cons. Thus, we must look towards improving the dispersion of communications across different services.
One of the foremost non-profit organizations for increasing awareness of diversity in the wine industry has partnered with Sonoma State University to create a scholarship for underrepresented students pursuing a career in the wine industry.
The Association of African American Vintners (AAAV) Wine Business Scholarship serves to build diversity in the wine industry and bring awareness to present-day Black winemakers while providing financial assistance to a student who demonstrates professional goals in the industry. The scholarship award is for $5,000 to help with the student’s tuition.
“The Association of African American Vintners is excited to partner with Sonoma State University and their Wine Business Institute with this scholarship to support the next generation of wine business students who want to have a career in the wine industry,” said Louis Garcia, vice president, and treasurer of AAAV.
