A West End modern classic is strutting onto the silver screen this spring in four-inch heels and a flawless beat.
Everybody’s Talking About Jamie follows a high school misfit from a Sheffield council estate to realizing his drag queen dreams, with a transcendent performance from industry newcomer Max Harwood. Drawing from his own struggles with identity, the 23-year-old theater buff brings an undeniable authenticity to the queer coming-of-age story. Every young queen needs a fairy drag mother, and Jamie is mentored by the vivacious Loco Chanelle (a bewigged Richard E. Grant), in an up-to-the-minute storybook tale to bring a little more magic to this spring.

New photos have been released for the upcoming
Everybody s Talking About Jamie film.
While the film s release date is currently unconfirmed, more information is being revealed about the upcoming flick – which stars newcomer Max Harwood in the titular role. Lauren Patel, also making her big screen debut, plays Jamie s best friend Pritti Pasha. Richard E Grant plays Hugo / Loco Chanelle, with national treasure Sarah Lancashire as Jamie s mum Margaret.
Margaret s best friend Ray is played by Shobna Gulati (who appeared in the stage show) while Sharon Horgan, of
Catastrophe fame, takes on the role of Jamie s teacher Miss Hedge. Other members of the cast include Ralph Ineson (a TV veteran) as Jamie s dad, Samuel Bottomley as Dean Paxton, Ramzan Miah as Zayn, and the original Jamie from the stage show, John McCrea, will play the Young Loco Chanelle.

The 63-year-old actor is joined by Dan Stevens and Kacey Musgraves in the English-language cast of Goro Miyazaki s animated movie.
The flick follows a headstrong orphan named Earwig who lives with a selfish with but then embarks on a journey to meet her mother who has magical powers.
On her trek, Earwig discovers a world of spells and potions, and a mysterious song that may help her in finding her lost family.
In the English-language dub, Taylor Paige Henderson will voice the titular character with Kacey playing Earwig s mother. Richard will play the Mandrake with Dan voicing the role of Thomas.
