COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says a temporary employee who worked for a janitorial service was arrested for an alleged incident with a student in a bathroom at Pelion Middle School. Authorities say 21-year-old Juston Deon Smith was arrested on Monday and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor.

“Smith, who was a contract temporary employee of a janitorial service provider, had a sexual encounter with a female student Monday,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “A school employee found Smith and the student in a restroom.”

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says they are looking a man wanted on multiple charges which include burglary, grand larceny and disabling a GPS monitor. Deputies say they are looking for Jerry William Hall Jr., aka JJ Hall.

Authorities say Hall’s last known address was on Ben Franklin Road, and he was last seen on Goose Platter Road in Aiken County. Authorities also say Hall is known to hang out at the Hillview Truck Stop and MJ’s Country Store.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A former Kindergarten teacher in Lexington County accused of sexually abusing a student has received the maximum sentence Wednesday, officials say.
Hianlucas Isturiz Rodriguez, 43, pled guilty this week in Lexington County General Sessions Court to criminal sexual conduct with a minor - third degree for sexually abusing a student.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– According to the Eleventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office, a former kindergarten teacher at Red Bank Elementary School was sentenced to the maximum 15 years after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct with a minor, third degree. Officials say 43-year-old Hianlucas Isturiz Rodriguez was employed as a Spanish language immersion teacher at the school from 2014-2017, when he was terminated following a student’s report of abuse.

In April 2017, authorities say Rodriguez told her parents that Rodriguez was inappropriately touching her at school. School officials brought the reports to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, who corroborated the story through evidence found at the school and interviews with other students.

LEXINGTON, S.C. Investigators say she was found murdered in a wooded area in Lexington County two months after she went missing in 2005.
For 16 years, the family of 36-year-old Diana Willmeth has waited for a breakthrough in her case.
To this day, her killer remains unidentified.
Her parents haven t lost hope that someone will come forward holding the missing piece that will solve the puzzle of their daughter s murder.
