BELLEVILLE A patient claims his lower right leg had to be amputated due to negligent medical treatment of his foot and ankle.
Larry Schramm and Linda Schramm filed a complaint Dec. 21 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Dr. James Taylor and Advanced Ankle & Foot Surgeons LLC, alleging negligence.
The plaintiffs allege in their complaint that Larry Schramm was treated by Taylor from Jan. 19, 2017, through Oct. 26, 2017, for issues he was having with his right lower leg. They claim Taylor failed to provide adequate treatment of Schramm s right ankle and foot and negligently and carelessly provided corticosteroid injections in Schramm s ankle and foot.
