TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Well, Alabama continues its run of success, at least in most sports this spring. Finally, Crimson Tide faithful exclaim, surely, its accomplishments don t stop on the gridiron.
There are more titles to be added, though, as multiple spring teams are in the running for championship status. Here, we ll let you know when, where, and how to watch Alabama continue its upward trajectory under athletic director Greg Byrne.
But I m getting ahead of myself; one week at a time, so here is what we have lined up for you in early April:
Following the 2020 season, which included just one completed women s event prior to all spring sports events being canceled due to the pandemic, the 2021 season will feature many of the same, traditional events as most previous seasons.
Highlights include the 120th annual Class Day Regatta, scheduled for March 27, and the Windermere Cup/Opening Day Regatta on Saturday, May 1. This year, the annual Cal Dual has been combined with the Windermere Cup, as the Huskies will race against the Golden Bears in the featured races that day.
Fans are encouraged to view the UW s two home regattas via live stream as no one will be permitted to gather along the Cut, due to local health regulations. Additionally, most of the traditional events surrounding Opening Day will not be in place this year, including the log boom and boat parade.
