MOONSPELL s goal, on these last turns around the Sun, are to write the best music we possibly can. To tell you a few stories with our lyrics, to be close to you in these times of distancing. We wish not to tease you or to influence you or to sell you our fish. We want to sit down with you at your table and feast together upon our notes and words. Like if we were close friends, like back in the time where music matters the most. In your bedroom listening to music, without having to post our smart remarks about it, inviting the hate in.
The somber tone is further illustrated in the music video, which follows AEW wrestler Sting in his wrestling attire as he goes about his day. But even with the sad melancholy of the song, the video ends on a hopeful note as Sting purchases a sandwich for a person in need and sits with him as they eat together.

Mikey Carvajal says, “ Crazy Crazy World is a song that everyone can relate to in one way or another. I wrote the lyrics when I was struggling with depression, but it really is an anthem for the times we are all in right now. It’s not a heavy song musically, but this whole year has been heavy enough for everyone. We wanted to contrast the heaviness with something beautiful and relatable, especially considering no one can mosh or stage dive or anything that comes along with being an aggressive band right now. Since this next record is easily the heaviest album we’ve done to date, we wanted to switch it up.”

JOYOUS WOLF, once described by the Los Angeles Times as a mix of rugged grunge and blues, have announced a livestream event taking place at the famed L.A. venue The Whisky a Go Go. The show is set for Saturday, December 19 at 7pm PST. During the performance, the band will be playing select songs for the very first time.
