These 53 N.J. towns flipped from Trump to Biden in 2020

Now that we know exactly how each town in New Jersey voted for president, we can see which ones felt like making a change.
That was the message from 53 municipalities, all of which went to President Donald Trump in 2016 before flipping to President-elect Joe Biden in last month’s election.
New Jersey is a deep blue state, so it was little surprise that Biden, a Democrat, won its 14 electoral votes on his way to victory nationwide. He bested Trump by a 16 percentage point margin in New Jersey, improving over Hillary Clinton’s 14-point win four years ago, when she took the state but lost the presidency.

MONMOUTH COUNTY The coronavirus continues to take a grim toll on Monmouth County, impacting local businesses and schools in the region, according to updated state data (see town-by-town totals below).
The state Department of Health s most recent COVID-19 Activity Level Report, which is issued weekly, says Monmouth County is still in the red zone for coronavirus cases.
Monmouth County reported 335 new cases on Friday and an increase of 2,576 cases from Dec. 12 to 18.
