Five youths charged over fire damage to memorial benches at Fife park

Kingdom FM Five youths have been charged in connection with a fire that caused damage to memorial benches in Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline last week. The males, aged between 13 and 15, will be reported through the youth justice process over last Wednesday s incident. Two members of the same group have also been charged in connection with the theft of bins from Kirkgate and vandalism to a vehicle on Chalmers Street on the same day. Sergeant Ross Crawford, of the Dunfermline Community Policing Team, said: These kind acts of vandalism have caused a lot of distress in the community and will not be tolerated.
